Our Teachers

The Lawrence Park School is all about great teachers working with great kids.  The school attracts dedicated teachers who enjoy children enormously and appreciate the opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of the little ones they teach. 

Leslie Grant, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed. Director

After teaching elementary school in Toronto for seven years, Leslie opened a few Sylvan Learning Centres and was the owner/Director of the North Toronto Sylvan Centre for fifteen years.  There, she worked with hundreds of students of all ages, and their parents and teachers, as a specialist in assessment, remediation, reading and math.  Recently, Leslie has worked with a psychologist who has developed an effective and motivating reading and math program for preschoolers which is now being used at the Lawrence Park School.  Leslie’s four children all attended the Nursery and Kindergarten programs here and she has been the Director since 2007.
